This prestigious program, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, offers an incredible opportunity for civil society actors to spend two to three months in Germany to gain professional experience, build international networks, and bring new skills back to their home countries.
What is the CCP Fellowship?
The CCP Fellowship is an exchange program designed to strengthen civil society. It connects professionals from over 40 countries, allowing them to work with host organizations in Germany. Whether you work in human rights, media, or sustainable development, this fellowship is a platform to exchange knowledge and foster intercultural dialogue.

Financial Coverage (Fully Funded)
The CCP Fellowship is a fully-funded opportunity. Selected participants will receive:
• Monthly Stipend: €650 to cover living expenses.
• Travel: Round-trip airfare covered.
• Accommodation: Provided or fully funded.
• Transport: A monthly ticket for public transportation within the host city.
• Health Insurance: Comprehensive health coverage for the duration of the stay.
• Visa Fees: Full reimbursement for visa applications.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Age: At least 23 years old at the time of application.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional or volunteer experience in a civil society organization.
3. Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
4. Health: Physically fit for a long-term stay abroad.
5. Citizenship: Must be a citizen of one of the participating partner countries (check the official list on the application portal).
How to Apply
The application process is handled through the ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) application portal. You will need to prepare the following documents:
• An updated CV in English.
• A letter of recommendation from your current employer or home organization.
• A motivation letter explaining how this fellowship will benefit your work.

Fellowship Period: Stays are scheduled between May and November 2026.
